Have come across a beautiful Plus 4 its four years younger than mine with a quarter of the recorded mileage of mine, if I didn't have a Mog I'd definitely be in for it...but I do have one, which I love, but am attracted by the lure of the skirt of something new.... is it worth changing to get a few years back and some mileage,the cost of change is reasonable so it's not the money....ah stick or twist..

Not worth changing. Car is the same so all you would be getting would be more depreciation.

The point is do the new one have better options or colour you prefer ? , example my self i swap a +4 for a roadster 3.0 with less mileage and better options and colours ... so i swap , but if it's only for mileage i don't think it's worth to do that as RAINBOW say: better a devil you know.

Test drive it. Scrutinise it closely and you'll know.
If it's 2012 it may have the MX5 gearbox.

Ha! I feel your angst..
Speaking as someone who did all the homework and trying for size before I bought my Morgan, it's just taken a Bank Holiday weekend to throw logic out of the window and fall in love with another one..!
The best advice I can offer is follow your heart, I'm afraid. If you fancy a change, then do it and to heck with the maths.

Definitely follow your heart... if you are like me, you won't be able to stop thinking about it until buy it! That's why motorbike magazines are banned in our house... and I need to stop looking at carandclassic.com/Pistonheads too!
