Brake drum saves the day. No damage to anything.

"What year is it?" "It's an oh-twelve" "Lovely to see these old things getting used and in such a good condition"
Conversation had in early oh-thirteen, car was about six weeks old at the time. Great! I'm using that from now on, because I'm tired of saying "2016", and getting that " you're bullshitting me" look. From now on she's an oh-sixteen. Maybe even an "ought-sixteen! Thanks.

I prefer a Citroen Mehari plastic, it makes me less evil eyes.

That happened to me and my granddad in the early 70's in his Austin A35 estate.
We were travelling down the road and this wheel came bouncing past us to which granddad says " some bugger's lost a wheel", at which point the off side rear goes down and near side front comes up.
Brake drum saves the day.
I went off to retrieve the errant wheel which was re-fitted with 1 nut from the other 3.
No damage to anything.
Happy daze. Same thing happened to my dad also in an Austin an A90. Dont remember how we fixed it but we got home in it.

Picture of another three wheeler (seen parked in Pau during the GP Historique). Bit different from the Berkeley! The Polaris slingshot drives like a truck! I test drove one last year before ordering my Morgan three wheeler. Polaris makes all-terrain vehicles that are made to run through the mud and ruts and muck. The slingshot drives the same way as those, even though it looks like a sports car. What is interesting though, is if you look at the front of the slingshot. They have two headlights very close together and then two lights very far apart like a car. They put the two very close together because this is classified as a motorcycle. And the US laws say that a motorcycle must have headlights no more than 19 inches apart. That's why Morgan had to change the headlights for the US bound M3W's. What Morgan should've done instead of making a bug eyed M3W is to keep the headlights were they originally were, and add two more headlights down towards the bottom middle like some people have done with fog lights.

That has not always been the case with the Slingshot and the two center headlights. The first year or so they had two outboard lights on each side and none in the middle.
