Sometime (about 1-2 years ago) there was a posting of a light green M3W with a short Fairbourne screen. I have been on an unsuccessful search for that picture, as I wish to install one on my own 3W, and am undecided on the looks between the original screens and the Fairbourne. I have uncovered multiple tall versions, but a picture the short version is what I need.
If anyone could help, it is appreciated.

Have a look on the Fairbourne site ...they used to feature both.
Or,maybe they can make u what u want...nice people.

They say on their website that they will be bringing out later this year a shower hood, which will clip onto one of their windscreens and the roll bars.
Looking forward to seeing what that is like!

Hugo: Thank you for the lead. I do have the Fairbourne screen in my shop, and have not made a decision to install.. It does look pretty impressive on your car. I wonder if you would comment on your driving experience with it?

The GTS screen is 6 inch high 2 inch less than the GT. They were same price £327 in March 2016.
I went for the GT as it provides protection for your hand. I can just see over the top or round it. At above 40mph the rain seems to track horizontally across it rather than over the top.
It was hard to find sealant for it as Fairbourne could not recommend any. I used Unibond HA6 as its OK with polycarbon. Its sold as fishtank glue/sealant.

Tom I have the regular Fairbourne screen, it is the best investment I have made for the M3W . Greatly reduces getting beat up by the wind (especially in cool weather up here), also helps a great deal to shed rain.

I'm having a Fairbourne installed and I'm curious about the sealing. The dealer told me initially that they didn't seal them, but that seems like a really bad idea to me. Is there a way to do it neatly? I can imagine using masking tape to get a nice clean edge with the silicone sealant, but would be interested in other folks experiences.

The original small screens are sealed. There is a channel below the slots above the instruments but I dont think that is sufficient to keep them dry & any ingress is on your knees.
I used masking tape to keep sealant off the paint & dont fully remove the film off the new screen just peel up & tape sufficient to clear the tongues. A trial fit without sealant is recommended & to mark the holes for the bolts.
