Thanks! Are they just sealed on the front, or the back also? Not sure that would be needed, but sitting in the rain, could see the possible need.

KH fitted the Fairborne screen to my car. Can't say they made a particularly tidy job of the sealant and so I made and fitted some stainless steel trim around the bottom - this also improves sealing. More of it is described fairly early on in my Hertsmog thread)..

I think Melvyn Rutter fit a replacement stainless steel L angled front pillar in the middle, which is screwed into the scuttle. This makes the assembly more rigid.

My limited experience of driving with the standard screens certainly made me get the Fairbourn fitted. It does keep a lot of the wind and rain off.

Thank you thank you thank you. I've used Rain-X on auto windows for the longest time but was completely unaware that they had formulated a silicone wax suitable for hydrocarbon based plastic.

This could be used on the Morgan, on poly-carbonate lenses, motorcycle helmet lenses and the like!

Turn signals!

Headlamps with poly-carbonate lenses like my JW Speaker LED lamps!

It boggles the imagination!

I'm agog

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I had one situation in very heavy rain where the fairbourne screen couldn't shed the rain fast enough, I had to look around the side and depend on my helmet visor to see, at a very slow speed. 2 lane road, no shoulder to pull over onto. Rain let up again after 5 or 6 minutes.
I sealed the front bottom edges of mine using the masking tape method, and a popsicle stick. Worked very well.

If you want the wider GT screen for hand protection but are shorter consider cutting down the taller GT. Mark your estimated upper edge with masking tape & trial fit it. Make a paper pattern before any cutting just in case.
