Crikey Howard, are you sober? Never thought I'd hear you praising a plus 4. Mine was a great car but being a GDI you are limited in what you can do for engine mods. Apart from that they are often specced up by dealers into a good package with easy up and mohair hood and screen covers etc. I didn't find it any less comfy on a long journey and it was quite ok on the caramulo run. For me it was also good enough out of the box suspension wise and all I fitted were reaction bars. Had I kept it I would have gone up a profile on the tyres to give it a bit more ground clearance but otherwise it was fine and totally rattle free.

Ferrari to plus 4: definetly a good sense of humour.

Hang on, he hasn't got there yet Deano - remember he used to be indecisive, but now he's not quite sure! hide

I remember a Lady Morgan Friend of Mine's statement. We were at an Exotic Car Show with Ferrari's all over the place. She had just taken delivery of Her 2000 +8. "I could buy a Ferrari", says She. "I just do not like the message it sends". This was while participating in the MOA III (Morgans Over America) run from New Orleans to Montreal, to Nova Scotia and ending in Hershey, Penn.

One thing's for sure Howard, not many people sell their Morgan after two years on principle. I've seen a couple sell after 2 months as they just didn't like it, but once you've owned one for a year selling is only to buy a different mog or for financial constraint reasons. That's how it's looked to me over 20 years or so.. although I suppose old age and creaking bones may be another reason.
You'll love it more after a few months, no-one gets bored with them.

Certainly a car to get before it's too late.

As you age you may get to a point where you simply wouldn't manage the demands on a failing body (not suggesting you are infirm at all) but something to bear in mind if you put it off.

Things to get with the car? I would say a rack and a spare.

Suncream.

Gently Button. We're supposed to be making Howard feel the love, not insulting his choice of car !!
