Out of interest my ECU is E340230

I think that the number that you have identified is the number of Body Control Unit AR4: E340230
The ECU is the below box.

Thanks for the Body number

Thank you for the info. on the ECU API, As it happens my ECU is 219, interestingly, with over 4000 miles the engine seems to be pulling a little better between 2000 - 4000rpm, although it could be me just getting used to it I suppose.

I did a power run on a rolling road a few months back which showed peak power as 220 bhp and a very definite drop in torque between 2500 - 4000 rpm.

Although my Aero S5 is a very different car, it's also quite noisy.

I fine-tuned the sound with some Dodo matting in the footwells; it's deadened the noise from below, and now I hear the side exhausts from the side B-)

DoDo say that quite small pieces of their foam will quell the noise from a panel. Maybe some judicious use would help hear the right noises from an ARP4?

Hello API
chassis nr is not necessarily the order of construction. I have received chassis nr 4 months in advance ( possibility to get personalized nr plate (AR 4))
