I agree about the water, they could rust out from the inside.

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Wolo makes protective covers which might help in really wet climates:

Not sure what current they take but highly recommended to use relay operated seperate fused feed, since the fuse feeding standard horn is only 7.5 amps, and not sure of current rating of horn switch.

This is how I wired my Nautilus Horn:

Removed original horn and extended wires to drive relay coil. Took main power feed from redundant intercom connection (purple/white wire) which was shortest run from fuse box. Fuse 18 (power socket/intercom) uprated from 15 to 20 amp as horn takes 17 amps.

Kankel,

Nice work on the horns!

What are you using on your chrome to keep your pipes so clean and polished? I've been using Simichrome polish, but it takes a ton of elbow grease to keep the pipes clean and shiney.

Your chrome looks amazing! Even your headers look new!

Polar993, thanks for the compliment!

I was always a Simichrome fan but recently found this S100 product and it works very well on chrome/stainless steel and it is very easy to use: S100 Polishing Soap

The box lasts a long time. Highly recommend!
