I haven't posted much lately, so here's a mixed bag including, my caterham xflow in bits having been bored and steel lined, my red car, a big digger bucket, a garage for sale and an Aston Martin...oh, and a dog in the car.

The Aston was in a Tesco car park in Banchory, good to see a classic being used in an ordinary way, it was a very nice example.

F430 ?

Sorry, I thought you guys were pulling my leg when asking what it was, yes, it's a Ferrari F430. It was probably the first car which was exactly what I wanted rather than just the best deal. Like the Morgan, we made buying it an experience of a lifetime, We collected it in London and drove it home to Scotland over a few days, absolutely ace.
The styling looks dated now when compared to the latest trinkets, but somehow, it doesn't matter, a red Ferrari will always be the real deal, for me, everything else like it is only like it. I do drive it quite a lot, it was considered higher mileage when I bought it at 25k miles, I've done another 20k miles since then. Contrary to what most enthusiasts of the brand would expect, the car still looks and drives like new.

What color blue is the Morgan? Beautiful! Is it a metallic?

It really is quite an amazing colour, the way it accentuates the various shapes of the car makes photography easy. It's not metallic, just plain gloss, it's called Saxe blue.
