So SWMBO doesn't like the sidescreens off, and driving at 32 degrees C in blazing sunshine is a bit warm without face vents. So im just wondering what to do to make it less of a sweat fest. I could make up some tubes like a periscope but thaf will look hideous.
Im just wondering how easy it would be to add air con since it is an option on a 2012 plus 4.... anyone tried it? Im figuring the compressor bit would be an extra pulley, belt and compressor from a focus or mondeo... akthough the front is rather tighter for space on the mog. Then a matrix in the heater box... there are several pipes already connected to nothing...

I know how you feel. The Memsahib is the same. Yesterday in slow traffic was torture.

No fun driving Mog in these temps with roof off , so run with roof on and aircon on , sounds terribly boring but I may crash if I don't !

As Tarka is laid up we have to suffer the C43, with its brutally efficient A/C. GIt chucks out far more cold air than Tarka's A/C, which is good for cool feet and legs, but not much else.

No longer driving Tarka, the 2014 Plus 8...

Too right! We read a lot about those who won't use their cars in the winter, and now it seems good summer weather is off-putting. My wife and I run all year round with roof down and side-screens off. These cars are what they are, and we find this is the best way to enjoy ours. It is rain that is the enemy for us.
