I have just sold my reliant robin which I owned for 10 years ! Wow - maybe a Robin is a true Yorkshiremanmobile!  And never got my hands dirty ! Once it was running and maintained it worked well so was hoping the same, I was hoping for the motorcycle experience in a safer package That's it, but it's not a Japanese bike. More BSA ... so far I've been happy leaving the oily stuff to my dealer too. I have been a lurker in here for quite sometime so have been building my knowledge up

How much are we talking roughly to do the chassis, drive, and cooling upgrades roughly are we talking £1000 ? £2000?? M Rough numbers: Centra probably around £1k for parts and same again for dealer fitting. Cooling kit around £150 for parts and an hour or 2 dealer labour Chassis brace (for pre 2014) should have been fitted under warranty and if not will be. NVH kit (for bevel box) don't bother with as it doesn't help and makes access to the BB difficult If it still has the ally rear sprocket it's likely to need changing to steel (or supermax) at around £500. If buying from a dealer they should be able to do a deal on any upgrades needed.

Mike the centa compensator parts are £834. Early chassis should have had a bolt in brace behind the engine but this may not stop the fractures as my 2013 still broke & has just had a new chassis which Morgan paid for. Early cars also needed a so called steering comfort kit but most have had it done, around £175 I think. The rectifier is a weak point but a Harley D part is about £80 rather than £250 from Morgan.
You say you do not want to tinker but its not a Toyota & will need frequent checks on oil & strange noises etc. There are many things you can do to make it more comfortable like raising front of drivers seat with a batten & sealing gaps behind seats to keep dust out & sound proof there. A full width screen from Fairbourn Carriages should be considered. All these are DIY or you can pay someone.

While I say I don't want to tinker, probably what I mean is I will have a look at stuff but rather leave it to someone who knows more than I and build up a relationship with a dealer , i
I like to go in with my eyes open and everything done to start with rather than try and fault find to start with
