Last week I had the Speedster for the first time professionally "detailed" including Ceramic Paint Coating. Really impressed with the results, especially on the areas most exposed to marks. I can't guarantee it will stay this clean, especially with the dust in central London, but it should at least be easier to clean...

She looks stunning!!

Mouthwatering in fact!! No - I will not dribble on your lovely new paint!!

I have looked briefly at Ceramic - like so many things it really all depends so much on who is applying it!! scared

That looks great. Is it a new process?

I have a small bottle of Gtechniq coating. Haven't tried it yet. Application details are quite specific. There is a "Pro" version that authorised dealers apply.
Also coating for boats, planes etc..
These coating won't stop stonechips. They can give a surface that cleans easier, similar to various "hard wax" or " paint sealant" treatments.

I used a guy called Ed at Divine Detail on my wife's Range Rover. He will quite happily use Gtechniq, but recommended I go for Opti coat pro 2.0 as it prevents bird poo eating into the paintwork.

Look at his website http://www.divinedetail.co.uk - he is, from memory, somewhere near Coulsdon, which is quite close to Orpington. Helpful chap too

I got the same for Christmas, just waiting for a free day to apply it.
