The Mog perfectly fits into the Medieval background me thinks , nice !

Since Monday 12th June we have covered 2350 miles:
Home, Hull, Rotterdam, Ypres, Evian, Grand Route Des Alpes, Frejus, Millau, Lac Des Settons, Zeebrugge, Hull, Home.
18 nights. 12 hotels, 2 nights on ferries.
5 countries (Holland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy)
Lost count of the Cols.
Fabulous roads and some beautiful scenery.
One application of grease at around the mid point.
Now a good clean and a grease round is needed.

puts my 650 miles to shame. Since Monday 12th June we have covered 2350 miles:

What was the weather at the Grand Route Des Alpes?
I repeatedly had heavy rain there and never completed the whole route but always escaped to Italy for dry comditions...

What was the weather at the Grand Route Des Alpes?
I repeatedly had heavy rain there and never completed the whole route but always escaped to Italy for dry comditions...
We were very lucky - only needed the hood twice. Once ascending a high Col (Colombier IIRC) it rained heavily and we had to give in. The way down was heavy rain and low cloud - not the best visibility. The Nagivator went very quiet. The other wet moment was on our way back north on a Peage near Dijon when we had to exit, erect hood and re-join.

Washed & waxed the car and then went to Prestwood for the steam rally.
a nice gentle drive in the Chilterns.

My partner is away at the moment and I am looking after her nearly 14 year old springer. The springer has been in the mog with my partner but decided to see how she was with me alone in the car. Spent an hour or so pottering around the lanes plus a stop for a walk and ball game on a beach. Might take her to Salcombe when I row on a Tuesday and leave her with the crew after ours in the mog of course.

Well, drove down to Three Cross Motorcycles and returned having bought a "nearly new" Triumph Thruxton R. Why? Well Tarka told me that she was lonely in the Garage....

After a 4 o'clock alarm and 333 miles we are in Wiltshire via BHM this morning and a four hour walk around Kent while Tigger was serviced. I'm ready for some wine!
