Well, drove down to Three Cross Motorcycles and returned having bought a "nearly new" Triumph Thruxton R. Why? Well Tarka told me that she was lonely in the Garage.... Congrats, I hope you have plenty of fun with it. I hurtled down to Three Cross a few years ago to buy a Guzzi California.

About to take the two dogs to Oxwich Bay on Gower via Cefn Bryn. Fabulous bay. Park in the hotel for free( skinflint mode). Light lunch in the garden (titbits will be given to the dogs). Walk along the beach towards Three Cliffs Bay. Tide stage will govern how far. Shorts on so a paddle will be easy.Return to hotel for a coffee/cold drink. The beach is dog friendly apart from the first bit where a lead is advised.

Sounds great Philip. I have just had a spin out to Ablington, to the Costwold Classic Car Hub (Prescott breakfast club meet today). Lots of lovely classic cars in the parking areas. Nearly had a line up of yellow cars, but just ahead of me was a rather nice TVR (early one with the big non-opening rear window, forget the model - Grantura? Vixen?) in very dark blue (non-standard Fiat 1600 TC engine and gearbox - as fitted to post X-flow Morgans). Other side a yellow Alfa Romeo, then one car further on a yellow Stag and MGB GT. So right in the middle of 4 yellow cars? A Healey 3000. Did look nice though. Around the corner, young lady with a very tidy pink Mini ice cream van (didn't think, should have taken a photo ). Marshfield ice cream. Come to that a very tidy young lady who knew a bit about Minis. Great chat, until other customers appeared to buy ice creams Anyway, on the way home, heading out of Cheltenham as I headed in was X55JRW (or something very similar) two up, 2 seater Morgan - big waves of course. Then just into town a dark 63 plate Morgan also waved

Just back home. Great day out. Tide in, weather perfect. Dogs loved the water. Into hotel garden for a steak and onion bagette. Lovely. Saw the Red Arrows over Swansea Bay at the airshow. A few miles away . On the drive home we saw many cars coming from the Pontardulais car show in Pembrey. Dogs are now having a nap after food.

Just returned from an excellent afternoon at Fawley Hill Steam Museum with ThamesMOG. Had my first ride on the footplate of a steam locomotive.
Photos will be forthcoming.

Very bad topic for me today, got the Morgan out of the garage, all togged up for a drive up to the N.Norfolk Vintage Vehicle day when I found that the doughnuts who are repairing the public footpath have cemented in a concrete kerb across the end of my drive such that the Morgan can't get across it. Good job I was going very slowly as I came to a sudden complete stop as the gearbox cross member gave the kerb a good blow. Of course, as it is lower still, the C type is also stuck in the garage, I hope I can sleep tonight whilst planning the discussion we are going to have tomorrow !!

Put the Wild Mogs .......with SteveT's Healey, on show at Milntown Estate Classic Show in Ramsey yesterday. Met up with a local Plus 8 owner Stuart on the way. One other old English white four seater there and a nice mix of cars. Plenty of Rolls which isn't surprising but everyone very friendly and laid back. Great drive over the Mountain later 🤓

After a threatening start to the day the weather became glorious which was just as well as there were a couple of shows/meetings in our area. We did the monthly Corner House meeting first at Wrightington where Stuart and Stewart from here completed a turnout of 5 Morgans. We then did the run across to the Lydiate car show which had some surprisingly unique cars and vehicles displayed. Also 7 Morgans attended this one. Stuart and I visited both shows and had a great cross country blat in to the bargain. The pic shows us waiting for another chap to join us for the trip to Lydiate. A perfect Morgan day!!

Jeez Reg, that's bad news! Have fun on the phone tomorrow Well Graham, it all worked out well over a cup of tea and digestives sitting on the front wall. The chaps ripped out the offending kerb and put a new one in 2" lower so I can now relax a bit. Now, if only I could get the Highways authority to alter the camber of the road, life would be perfect !!!! Thank you for your post, much appreciated.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
