Jeez Reg, that's bad news! Have fun on the phone tomorrow Reg You couldn't make that up! Glad it is sorted. Took Stanley out of the garage today so I could tidy up the back of the garage. Co-incided with the bin men coming around. One of them owns a lovely 105E Anglia, so we often have a quick chat. He does tend to get some friendly abuse from his colleagues though.

After a threatening start to the day the weather became glorious which was just as well as there were a couple of shows/meetings in our area. We did the monthly Corner House meeting first at Wrightington where Stuart and Stewart from here completed a turnout of 5 Morgans. We then did the run across to the Lydiate car show which had some surprisingly unique cars and vehicles displayed. Also 7 Morgans attended this one. Stuart and I visited both shows and had a great cross country blat in to the bargain. The pic shows us waiting for another chap to join us for the trip to Lydiate. A perfect Morgan day!! Is that "strawberries and cream" car the one that was on display at Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago?

It is actually Rich Maroon and pretty dark but Kenny's camera took full advantage of the direct sunlight to make it look lighter. Great pic Kenny, and a very enjoyable day.

Well Graham, it all worked out well over a cup of tea and digestives sitting on the front wall. The chaps ripped out the offending kerb and put a new one in 2" lower so I can now relax a bit.
Pleased to hear it was all sorted without any problems

+1 - when I read the first post I thought you might have had an intractable issue! Glad it was sorted out so quickly Reg, hope the C-type can straddle it too?

A final day for the Wild Mogs on the Isle of Man. Visited the Laxey Wheel and then down to catch the ferry back to Liverpool. Well apart from me.....I waved an emotional farewell to my fellow Wild Mogs and drove off to find my luxury farm accommodation for the next few days 😜

Wish I'd known as I may have been able to join in too... The car got a good run away taking my eldest to a dance competition in Media City, Manchester.

"Lets go to Marlborough in the Morgan for a spot of lunch" said swmbo. Wow that's a rarity. After all that we had Waitrose sandwiches on the steps of the Town Hall! Parked Morgan in middle of High St parking area. Joined by two other Mogs further down, one with a German no. plate.

Yep, we've yet to meet up Andy and we're on the doorstep of each other. We'll have to get something sorted.
I did fancy doing the Scotch Piper tonight but don't think I'll be able to get there now.
Stuart, it was indeed a super day yesterday!
