Check Engine light comes on.
My OBD II scanner says P0135 O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction.
Does any one know the spare parts number for this sensor?
Is it a DIY job to replace it?
Looks a tight fit underneath the coolant piping running over the exhaust manifold.
all advices highly appreciated.

Geir,
Replacing the sensors on my Roadster is easy. You will need a 22mm spanner.Sorry that I cannot furnish you with a part no. but someone will.

Hi Gier, sorry can't help with part numbers or advice on replacement but have you tried disconnecting the electrics, say overnight, and let the ecu reset? Worked for me. Otherwise remove item and clean maybe? Worth a go and best o' luck.

Thank you all,

I need a new one as when I clear the fault code it only appears again.

1053108 seems quite expensive, are there any alternative parts numbers?

Have you checked the wiring connected to the sensor? The heat can affect it and the heater wiring may be deteriorated. Worth a quick check ? I don't have that engine so don't know if you have separate wiring for the sensor heating to the signal wire for the O2 measurement.

On my 2003 4/4 I have fitted a
NTK KBA16693:OZA519-D1 8L5

Maybe the OZA519 is the critical part of the code

At http://www.lambdasensor.co.uk/main/ntkprice/price.pl?item=OZA519-D1

The NTK is £94.80 and their own brand at £60

I normally go for the NTK in the expectation of a better quality product

Good luck
