There are several Roadster rates, because the system was in transition over the period 2006 to 2010, which affected large capacity engines.

I have recently been looking for a replacement for my regular car and finding the tax rates for any potential buy is not straightforward. The DVLA will only give you a direct answer if you have the V5C. Without that the tables require that you know the CO2 emissions which isn't always easy to find out.

Unbelievable: this is so easy to look up on .GOV website and the costs will always be current. My current Plus 4 was registered in August 2016, but the site didn't give the option of Morgan as a manufacturer - I had to enter it as July before it would, so it may not be that easy to get an accurate assessment. My previous (2008) Plus 4 has a taxation of £220, whereas my current (2016) one is just £190 (I've just had the renewal reminder). An unexpected result!

That's for 12M New plus 8 is £535 first year but then drops thereafter to , I need to check ..

It will eventually drop to £140? Steve, but after 5 years I believe. New rates are on the site I mentioned above... The Lady behind the counter at the P. office said it would drop but it doesn't say anything about this on the govt website , I hope you are right Graham !!
