I have every bill going back to 1983 and must have used around 50k litres or 11k gallons. Never added them all up. It has cost what it has cost. It's all about the memories, 240k miles and 40+ countries.

Including initial cost, shipping/importing, insurance, upgrades and repairs; excluding fuel and deprecation (thanks brexit), it has so far cost me $9.73 per mile.

I have never costed any of my pleasures and or hobbies - just fill them up and go.

It would remove all the fun factor to know how much it costs - it's the value and grin factor not the cost that matters.

Would I really buy a Plus8 for economy laugh2..

Using the same parameters as Charlie (Mi3Wheeler), I come in at $3.09 per mile. Owning one of these things is not for the faint of wallet.

If I was worried about running costs I'd have bought a Honda Fit

Just been from St Albans to the factory and back (roughly 280 miles) on two tanks of petrol, so not too bad and a wonderful pootle along some really pretty roads - priceless.
