I know there is a thread somewhere but cannot remember where.
What is required to change the wing mirrors?
How much do you have to remove to get to them or, can you just reach in to the battery bay area and remove them?

Only the side trim needs removing to reveal the locking nuts.
But there's not much reveal so you're looking at quarter turn at a time whilst you're supporting the mirror externally.
Be really careful not to drop the nuts and washers.
Likewise on installation best to tape the nut to the wrench/spanner so nothing drops

According to my dealer, he is in heated discussions with the factory.
No speculation, but, i imagine its to do with price.
