Just as an update - and as B&C suspected when I met with them at Goodwood - there is a leak on the pipework connecting the oil cooler to the engine.

In some ways I'm pleased it's not the sump as it would have meant I had given it an almighty clout and not have felt it!

Not sure when I will get the car back. Soon I hope as it's the Season.

Guess that's good news as fairly easy to fix.

Do you think it was caused by something catching it from underneath or a faulty hose clip ?

B&C advise that two hoses were rubbing together and have eventually split. I am not sure if a clip to keep them apart is missing. I suspect this is a one off and not a feature of every 4.8 V8.

When I get my lift installed I would like to think I can keep an eye on whats underneath as well as tidying things up eg clips/pipes etc and cleaning the side pipe boxes.

Slow response is the Morgan way. I had an experience in 2013.

Stand up and points to the board.
The whiteboard..........
Three C's.
Concern
Cause
Countermeasure

The pacesetter way.............

If nothing changes it hasn't been identified as a concern.
Which is a concern.
