They improve with mileage Craig. Some say 10,000 is the sweet spot.

I'm looking forward to it Dave, I was thinking about having the re map. This apparently brings the torque down to where it should be. Or maybe I should wait until its covered more miles, it might naturally get better with miles.

I agree with above observations...mu 2014 4/4 loosened up at about 5000 miles then came alive at 10,000 miles .

I then had a remap,Librands manifold + sports exhaust,K+N cold air induction and it became loud fast hooligan hot rod !!!!

BHP increased from original 110 to 139.6.,,still get great mpg and improved handling due to added gas adjustable shocks, brake reaction bars +panhard rod...love driving it on skinny tyres..proper sports car.
I will upgrade standard Contis soon I think.

Still wouldn't swop for any other car in Morgan range...will wait for aluminium chassised/BMW 6 cylinder package !!!

My bog standard Zetec 4/4 is just nicely run-in at 40,000 miles.
Henry will verify!

What a wonderful rear! Must have been quite an engineering task in those days.

one of those cars which can look fast just standing still!

Quite an eye catcher. Racey even!

It's amazing the amount of older Morgan's are out there for sale, with hardly any mileage !

Still not run in then ?

Not really.

Most Morgans are used very sparingly and low mileage examples are the rule not the exception.

Morgans are probably less used than any other make other than collectable supercars.
