Narrow body if still possible, two-tone paint (brg and black), bumpers, position lights on the wings, no fog lights, luggage rack, spare wheel, leather interior (black), seat heating, old-style-hood in everflex, tonneau in mohair, stainless wire wheels, wooden Kauffelt dashboard and color matched wooden steering wheel + gear knob, stainless wiper stalks, chrome door shut covers...

The ideal spec for ant Morgan is one that you like and can afford. There are so many toys and bling you can add which could end up making your hair stand on end, but hey, that's part of the enjoyment.
Whatever you do, please do enjoy it.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

For me an absolute must is an LSD and either painted (not SS) wire wheels or, preferably, the sandcast-style alloys.

There are as many "ideal specs" as there are members of this forum!

I found that the ideal spec breached my self inflicted budget ceiling.

I had to delete contrast coloured stitching and embroidered head restraints. With hindsight this may have been for the best.

I also deleted contrasting seat piping, although with yellow, that's also maybe a good thing.

I was on the fence with the build book for a long time. Added it then deleted it, then re-added it, and this was the right decision. It's well worth having £££££.............

I opted out of wing top marker lights because I had reason to believe that the holes were drilled after paint and possibly by the dealer. However a later trip to the factory showed me a bare unpainted body with the holes already drilled. So had I known this for certain I would have had wing top lights.

One final thing. At my indecison stage about the colour, I bought two aerosol cans of paint - one Lotus Saffron yellow, and one Porsche Signal Orange. I painted a small piece of aluminium with both colours and even took my sample to BHM.

At present I'm working on a front valance for my Roadster which will replace the spoiler. I decided to apply two coats of signal orange, just to see what a large panel would look like. I'll post the image later, but it has given me a tinge of doubt. That orange is absolutely superb............................

Should I have been bolder? The moral of this story, is ...... be bold with the choice of colour. Too many Morgans are built with very conservative shades. When you can have any colour, why not be bold?

I asked essentially the same question - see "desireables".

Man after my own heart. A pretty Morgan just has to be two tone.

The ideal is in the eye of the beholder. Does not matter what others think it's your baby which will live within your thoughts once decisions have been made be proud! If there was an ideal Morgan life would be so boring with nothing to compare it to!😩
