41,000 on my 14 year old Zetec 4/4, most in my 12 years of ownership.
One fuel pump relay failure 4 years ago: fixed in minutes with the spare I carry.
Also replaced a leaky radiator with a Mulfab, 2 years ago.
11 trips so far to France or Spain and more planned. RAC card in wallet just in case!

Any motor not used very much would start playing up so its not suprising a Mog that does virtually no miles will / can suffer a few issues eg one long trip every two years to classiclemans and things can happen just when one doesn't need it ! Mine didn't till I got home and ...fuel relay !

My '63 +4-4STR has been reliable as any 55 year old car could be. Bought in 1994 it has seen many road miles including a trip to Le Mans. As it aged and parts wore out, they were replaced or rebuilt. Aftermarket Parts were not as good as the Original. The requirements for a Morgan to exist in the Western U.S. is a bit different than England. Long Hot Miles is the norm. Very steep Mountains to climb. Coming home from a trip to New Orleans, Montreal, Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor I was between 94 and 104 MPH in the Dakotas and Montana for hours. Long, good Highways. If I did not go that fast the Big Trucks would have run Me down. To do this successfully with an old +4 I had to become a Road Mechanic. Carry the necessary parts and use AAA. Same as AA in England

I've done about 100,000 miles in my 4/4 which has done at least 150,000 miles in total, taking in Portugal in the West, Turkey in the East, and most countries in between. The only thing that's stopped me is the alternator which has failed twice, both times being sorted out within 24 hours.

Only have 82K on my 81 4/4. Replaced the alternator once, kingpins once, clutch once, and rebuilt the Armstrong shocks once. I have found it to be a reliable car.

Cheers,

Mark

80000kms on my Plus4 and no failures apart from a hole in the exhaust manifold that my dealer welded for me a month ago. Really reliable in my view!
feel like a new one!!

50.000 km on my 2014 4/4 now. King Pin job this spring. Nothing else to repair with the exception of the more often changed front brake discs. I did 43.000 km on her. Absolutely reliable.

OK I changed some parts like front springs and shocks all around etc. but not because I had to.

32,000 miles (51,500km) in the 2014 Plus 8.

One fault: a split vacuum pipe cap. The part cost nothing, the labour...well, that is what it costs to remove the bonnet, cowl and O/S front wing....!

One Issue: Engine Light kept on coming on to indicate one of the lambda sensors was slow to respond. Finally solved by fitting 2 new sensors. MMC and other manufacturers it seems, consider them to be "wear items".

Otherwise? A blown brake light bulb.

Has it ever let me down? No.

My 2002 Plus8 has 58000 miles. I have done the last 30000. No issues. The engine light came on a couple of times just after buying it. Random intermittent misfire. Evap system warning. Reset and no longer come on. Dampers changed last year for AVO's after one rear failed All 4 changed. Car feels better after adjustments made. Librands rollbar fitted as a nod to safety (Williams did it).
Serviced myself and greased at 700-1000 mile intervals. Kingpins are A1.
Odyssey battery (unchanged) with ctech conditioner. Rear foglight issue solved by resoldering dry looking joints on the controller pcb.(no spare forthcoming after several months wait ( Morgan spares policy still working as normal). Just sorted the dash rheostat as the instruments were not lit (bad/dirty connection so easy solve. The usual leaks issues mostly now cured.
I tend to use Shell V-power petrol mostly as I feel it runs better.
Am I happy with the car? You bet I am!
