how does it work with the order?
you order and they send you?

normally you can just buy them at the border.

We can order them online from http://www.swisstravelsystem.co.uk/en/products/motorwaysticker?affiliateid=66 and they post them to the UK.

I know we could buy them at the border but last year we crossed on a minor road and there were no customs or place to buy. We ended up spending the best part of an hour near Biel finding a garage to buy them so the plan is to be prepared this year.

You order online and the vignette is sent out by post, takes about 3-4 days, buying at the border only really works if you are on the Autoroute.

Good luck with that - where we're crossing is in the middle of nowhere.

I'm organised! I have my vignette all ready to stick to the aeroscreen. I should really organise something/anything else fairly soon though... crazy2

Chris, looks like our posts crossed - I'm remembering last year we got them at the petrol garage/Alfa dealer in the baking sun and previously at the border but on the motorway - So as per your post and on reflection it's better to pre- book if we're in the middle of nowhere.

- All ordered -

Nice idea Mark but do they work with more than 2 "bikes" at a time?

Chris according to the instruction booklet, you can pair three then switch between them as well as plug in Wilkie talkies and/or sat nav.

It was quite funny today trying them out around the training school - 😀

I'm going to have to find the radios now too
