We move over to burgh island for two nights later today, so hoping for a dip in sea at bigbury on sea possibly.
Envy is a terrible thing. Enjoy Burgh Island - best Dry Martini Cocktail I have ever tasted was there.

Plymouth has been glorious since we arrived on Tuesday afternoon, warm (ish) and sunny for the last couple of days, dry and breezy yesterday evening for the first night of the world firework championships, forecast is the same for tonight.
We move over to burgh island for two nights later today, so hoping for a dip in sea at bigbury on sea possibly.
Burgh Island is a magical place... you must experience the sea tractor. Also the island swimming pool, cut out of the rocks, is rather fun, as long as you don't mind sharing it with the lobsters and crabs waiting to meet their end in the kitchens.

Burgh Island is a magical place... you must experience the sea tractor.
Best time for this is after dinner when it is taking people back to the mainland after dinner. We were all dressed for dinner and went over and back as a joy ride. As Peter says, magical. Would love to know if the Mural is still in the dining room.

But it is, we have them all down here - Austrians, Italians, Hungarians, Nederlanders, Germans, Belgians, Scottish, Welsh, Spaniards, Portuguese, Irish I have never in my 38 years down here seen so many foreign tourists it's great for the local businesses - a Brexit effect I guess with preferable exchange rates. p.s. It has been known to rain down here as well  .. p.p.s. Burgh Island makes for a pleasant visit.
