Thanks all. It sounds like it might be the one to go for. I'll have to sell the Maser first. Much as I'd like to keep both, I doubt I'll get away with it, as I have a few bikes as well.

I'd imagine that it's quite lively from 70mph then, if it's running at around 3k rpm. Through the gears it's quite similar to the Maser gearing wise. The main difference being I've currently got one more. Mine will pull a genuine 150mph in 5th with a gear to go. I've not had it flat out, but have done a few track events with it where it's stretched it's legs a bit.

How do you guys find the dealers? One of the things I like about the Maser is that the specialists and main dealers are genuinely enthusiastic about the marque. I would think it's a similar story with Morgans generally?

Welcome from Ipswich :-) we are fairly new to Morgan ownership and have found both the Folk mog branch of MSCC and Talk Morgan a really great bunch of people.

Take a jaunt down to Krazy Horse. . Its a grand day ot anyway and you can chat Morgans at length with them...

As others have said enjoy the chase....

Welcome to TM.

So far I have dealt with a few dealers (2 car purchases plus some "extras" plus servicing). The ones I have dealt with have all been genuine enthusiasts. Krazy Horse are well regarded. If you have to travel further afield to find the right car then Allon White are also very good to deal with (and last time I looked had 2 Roadsters in stock) - they also have a market for non Morgan so may do you a surprisingly good part ex - certainly worth a phone call.

Welcome Trev to TM from across the pond. The M3W is the most fun you will ever have in driving. Not the best for touring but it could be done.

Hi Trev and welcome to TM, as graham said the right car will find you, you will know almost instantly.
Don't let the location of the dealer sway your decision trawl all the ads, Morgan motor company find a car facility or just visit the dealer websites.
I've had six mogs, two bought privately, one from Harper's, two from allon whites and one from f h Douglas in London, who sadly no longer exist.
Limiting the choice of dealer limits your choice of car.
Be prepared to travel for the right car.
Good luck.
