The weather forecast predicts that it is going to be a nice dry day day on Sunday for our Lap around Lough Erne in Co. Fermanagh in Northern Ireland.

Richard the posts and photos are terrific. I did fall deeply in love with Dartmouth. It was a beautiful sunny day in June and we - me, the lovely G and the in-laws - had lunch at a pub near the water and later I went into a sweets shop and bought some caramel fudge. Handing them to me in a small paper bag the very cuddly lady fudge maker said "thar yer go me luvverr." The inflections go up, then down, then up again on luvverr. But west country folk know that. I swear, right then, I fell in love with Dartmouth and must return. Is the fudge shop still there?

Kerry you must come back again, once visited normally there has to be a return if not many. Thank you, the place is very easy to flatter the photographer I'm afraid. The fudge shop is still there too and the accents get stronger once the season starts  . I look forward to meeting up some day, once you move to France you will be that much closer too. We have an airstrip where we can collect you from should you chose to fly. http://southhamsflyingclub.co.uk/I have noticed a big increase in Austrian visitors this year in particular as a point of interest.

Richard. Last week, we went up river for lunch at the Anchor Stone Cafe at Dittisham. Highly recommended. Also a lot more fun and far easier to arrive by boat.

Simon, we'll try that one sometime thanks.
We have tried the Red Lion and it's ok, an old colleague of mine use to run it 45 years ago so it has connections for me, he is long gone now he was a very gifted musician and had his own band.
Not the best of places for a Morgan down there.
We go bell ringing out there sometimes but definitely a tin top job.

You can walk there from Dartmouth............. There's a selection of routes.
