What was the Inn on the Bridge at Bowbridge (now Waterman's Arms) for me. A bit of a walk from Dartmouth it is closer to Totnes. The drive alone from Totnes to Dartmouth along the river is worth it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBu5ewmEP2E

Kerry you must come back again, once visited normally there has to be a return if not many. Thank you, the place is very easy to flatter the photographer I'm afraid. The fudge shop is still there too and the accents get stronger once the season starts . I look forward to meeting up some day, once you move to France you will be that much closer too. We have an airstrip where we can collect you from should you chose to fly. http://southhamsflyingclub.co.uk/I have noticed a big increase in Austrian visitors this year in particular as a point of interest. We'll be back! Hang on, didn't some Austrian/Californian say that? And Richard if the pound keeps going down we might be able to afford a garage with an outhouse in Dartmouth. And I will have no problem finding a farm strip nearby. One day.
