Yep, the John Taylor storm covers are excellent. If the weather's really pants when I'm away from home and the car has to be parked up outside overnight, I will often put the hood up and put the storm cover over the top for maximum protection.
A must-have accessory, definitely.

Probably a stupid question, I haven't got my Morgan yet, but why would one need a storm cover if you have a hood? Just for the rain ingress in the louvres?
No doubt, I will find out. Just wondering. Not a stupid question. It's definitely worth buying a storm cover - leaving a Morgan outside in heavy rain is not a great idea. My new +8 leaks, and most leak. A storm cover is relatively inexpensive and rolls up into a bag which can be kept behind the seats. When I took my last Morgan on holiday to France I kept the hood and sides off for the full 2 weeks of the holiday. But I put the storm cover on overnight to protect from dew and anything else. I echo everyones comments on these covers  - always have it tucked away behind the seats. Agree with Budster and Stewart.
The cover is v low cost and v v useful.
I keep mine tucked behind my seat - always ready to go!
It takes about a minute to put up.
Highly Recommended.
Mine is a John Taylor. Cost £60.

This is a very good point. If it rains when your car is parked up outside the pub or whatever with the tonneau cover on, when you come to drive off you've got a soaking wet tonneau cover to deal with - and if it's anything like mine, it will have collected a couple of pints of rain on the surface which is not easy to get rid of without half of it ending up inside the car. With a storm cover however, it's a doddle to take it off the car, bundle it up, shove it into a plastic bag, and hang it up to dry when you get home.

I often use my Librands short cover instead of a hood when oarked. Easier to put on. I sometimes have the hood rear mounted and folded to make final fit quicker. Handy in rain squalls. The tonneau cover gets a lot of use and the storm cover provides extea wet safety.
For overnight I prefer the JT long cover.

I echo Peters reply.
So I use my storm cover from John Taylor. For example on a journey when luggage is stored on the side screens behind the seats.
I was happy with the service from John. He made a storm cover with a little bit longer "wings at the doors" so I can use it without side screens und with hood down.
