Welcome to the TM funhouse!
I hope you enjoy the restoration as it will enhance your enjoyment of the car.
Re the brakes....
Have a look at this site
www.biggred.co.uk
I haven't used them but they do have a good reputation.

UPDATE

Good news!! The car passed its MOT yesterday. The exhaust had a repair bandage to get it thru but have been to my local exhaust guy earlier today and will soon have a quote to replace both sides in stainless. The brakes now work with fresh fluid and no air in the system, its over 15 years since it was changed! The gearbox is really smooth with fresh ATF in it and the car drives really well 😀!!
Will get the clutch slave re-sleeved during the winter (thx for the steer) and some new tyres (Avon) fitted soon.

Oh, one question, what's the best cleaner for a dirty hood? Plastic window is fine it's the hood itself, sandy colour, that has grease and other marks on it that I would like to get cleaned up? Tried soapy water but no real improvement.
Many thanks.

Nice to see car is progressing well Jeremy. Try scrubbing the hood with cheap non bio washing powder, in hot water of course! You'll be surprised at the results.

Not sure of the good material, not mohair or canvas, more plastic like really? Was standard hood when ordered back in 1990? Will try the washing power solution.

One more question, need to replace the air filter, looked for k&n solution but appears not available for the Hotwire +8 only for carb models, what do others use? Many thanks, Jeremy

Sounds like the hood is Everflex, colloqially known as "Neverflex". smile
Can't help with the filter, sorry.

Welcome - good to hear of another Morgan being bought back to use.

Do check the rest of the spec on the tyre. I expect it is 205/60/15 V91
V rating for speed
91 for load etc.

Yokohama BLUEARTH-A AE-50
Continental CONTI PREMIUM CONTACT 5

I would certainly get the oil, fuel and brake/clutch fluids out and flushed. Ditto for the seals in clutch and brakes.

Bending it will cost a lot more. Lots of hand made in those cars.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Thought I would give you an update as now had the exhaust done by CSK Fabrications in Pocklington, North Yorks. Great custom stainless job of silencer and pipes on each side including a nice twin out each side., only £740 including fitting. Will post a couple of pics. Would recommend CSK. Cheers
