Yes, after yesterday I needed to get out of the house for a while.
So, Prescott Breakfast Club, caught up with a few pals from the competition side and some fellow TMers. Gone 12:00 before I left (original vague plans were to be away by mid morning to head to Madresfield). A number were heading on to the Tewkesbury Classic Vehicle bash.
Anyway, on to Madresfield, passing a southbound MTW as I headed north I thought "Crikey, can't have finished already?" Turns out he'd never been before and had missed the turn into the drive. He spun round and followed me at a distance. Lots of people still at Madresfield. Caught up with a few more pals, plus confirmed my attendance with Greg D-S to assist on Autosolo next Saturday.
Not a lot of miles, but a nice little run after the other week's service/repairs and good to catch up with friends, shoot the breeze and take my mind off current events.
Looking forward to next weekend thumbs

We just missed you Graham, we left Madresfield about 12:30. I was lucky to be given a chance to drive the bright green 3speed three wheeler. Great fun.
Will see you at the Autosolo next weekend.

Friday drove Nero back from Williams after having the SSL Five link rear suspension fitted and a replacement alloy radiator....the latter under warranty.
Good run up following SBM in his Brooklands to the AR8 cafe at Cotswold Airport. He'd very kindly picked me up from home....the Worcs one NOT Cumbria! Then what turned out to be a very busy drive back up via Cirencester, Stow, Broadway to home....just missing the bad weather which hit hard an hour later.

Very pleased with the new suspension. Tamed the back end a lot, more positive handling and comfort too. Interesting looking at the slightly increased rear rude height....the springs had sagged quite a bit over 11,500 miles and eight years...particularly the drivers side.

Good to read that John.

Are the new wheels on Nero yet?

If they are would love to see the pics.

That's a shame Ian, however, I'm sure we can catch up on Saturday. Guess you enjoyed the 3W? smile

Went to Stonor Park and onto Nuffield House following Vlad the Impaler as a tour guide.

Great fun in beautiful countryside including the village for the Vicar of Dibley & the windmill & hill from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Errr.....no.

Not quite a simple swap of wheels. The centre of the Minilites are slightly thicker and therefore the studs not quite long enough for safety. Williams are fitting longer studs for me and spacers as the wheel offset is different. Another couple of weeks hopefully.
