I definitely understand the rear wheel thing - is there no fix possible?

Having wandered around the factory yesterday, and seen plenty of S5s both part-built and finished, I have come to the conclusion that it really isn't anything other than the suspension not having settled yet. Nothing to worry about at all in my view.

I also had a good look and most look perfectly centred. However there were a few examples that clearly looked wrong.

At 07:30 on 26 August 2017 there were 16 used 2016/2017 Morgans on Auto Trader 7 were S5 Aeros.

Given that there are more +4s, 4/4s and Roadsters built than Aeros to me that suggests owners were not happy with their investment.

There was ONE S3 Aero.
There were 2 Plus 8 Aeros.

MMC have just set up a sales room to sell ex demo cars that the dealers dont want direct to the public.

They had a 2016 ex demonstrator S5 for sale at £95k which i thought way too expensive. Typical MMC they hadnt even cleaned it.

Yes, but those that I saw also clearly had the rear of the chassis up in the air a bit - i.e. they weren't settled correctly at normal static position. That's why I think it's a suspension extension state rather than a build issue.

By comparison, at 08:40 on 26/08/2017 a similar search on Car and Classic shows 32 Trads and 4 Aeros in the 2016/2017 bracket.

I would suggest that more data would be needed to draw any conclusions about the availability of Aero S5s in the second-hand market. As we know, it can be easy to observe correlation but very hard to identify causation.

I still rather fancied it, though. Aero 5 prices are completely out of my league, so it's immaterial whether it's 85, 95 or 105k, it's still the stuff of fantasy. Plus of course that quite apart from being far too posh a car for me, I'd never get it up my drive anyway. Still, a chap can dream. Sigh...

Peter I think that is just the result of the demonstrators being on the market. None of the dealers will want to be carrying that debt beyond the end of any agreed period at a guess. I thought it was a little bit nuts flooding the market like that. There is a regular market for Aero cars at the different prices but it is low volume. Pricing control is vital to retain the values, I think this is a bit of an error that might just hurt the car values for a few years.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Does it means that after 7 years and 50.000km mine has not settled yet? rofl (and yes, the iPhone camera is "accentuating" it)

Look (recent "boring" pic for the insurance company)
