Not today but last weekend......
Morgans at Windermere plus a couple of days in Whitby.
Windermere is an annual trip and we tag on a "diversion" to it.
The Lakes is a great area to tour in a mog. Crooklands Hotel as a base. Traffic to Ambleside from the South was horrific so detours were in order. No bad thing....
Weather held ok for top down.
Nice cross country run on the Monday to Whitby vis Kilburn to see the "Mouseman" furniture factory. A bit like a MMC factory tour but just viewing windows.
was looking for a small item to buy until the £££££ were seen! Lovely furniture and accessories but ££££.
Whitby was great...Trenchers for fish and chips both nights, Robin Hoods Bay, Goathland for the "Heartbeat" experience. Hood up however due to a typical Yorkshire weather day(
).
Long run home, crossing to N Wales then down the middle.
Just short of 1000 miles.
