If I carried a tool like that there would be no room for anything else. I carry a rawhide type mallet and a hard wood dolly (3 inch dia.6 in long). Lots of room to move the spinner without hitting bodywork.

Hammer and nothing else. Bit of a pointless advert really with Andreas driving around the countryside in his E type and Michael in his amazing mustard coloured kecks....

I carry a hammer for on the road emergency use but use a (3 eared) spinner tool at home, (the bar is too big and heavy to carry) you can live without one but why bash it when you don't have to?

I have used a lead hammer for well over 35 years. I bought 6 lead hammers so I would not run out and I would have lead hammers in the future. Works for Me. If I could buy a new Morgan (I can't) and I could afford a new Morgan I certainly would not order wire wheels. Too much hassle keeping them clean and tuned properly.

I use a plastic type rubber mallet, it sounds like a rattle when you shake it, but it's brilliant for the spinners

I've got the one in the video, very good indeed if very expensive. The excellent ratchet with screw in extension is worth having too. Used it yesterday, IMHO so much easier than bashing away with a hammer, whether lead or copper and hide.

When I worked in a haulage yard, we used to have a fitter who would religiously tighten up wheel nuts with a torque wrench. Funny thing was, you would check them again the next day and they would have slackened off.
Me?, well I just used the 1" air impact wrench and then followed it up with a final tweek with a socket, t bar and length of scaffold tube. Never had a problem with wheels coming loose!
