We saw lots of old Rollers & a superb old gull wing Merc in yellow going that way back to Bucks.
Great weekend with I guess 300 plus miles all in.

Came across quite a few classics on our drive back home from Malvern today. Including a very noisy Manx Norton race bike with rider wearing a pudding basin helmet....utterly glorious sight and sound🤓

Well a quick trip to the bottle bank ended up being a 30 miler via Kingsbridge and back along the coast road and Slapton Line, quite a lot of people swimming and beaching there and at Blackpool and it's nice to see them enjoying the late summer warmth.
Nice too to see the ride on model railway is now back in action on the embankment at Kingsbridge, our 3 always loved this and will now be able to put their youngsters on it when they visit. For those that remember it now it is operating on the road side of the estuary.

A roundabout way back from RFTH --- stayed 2 days with friends near Banbury and then down to Oxford to visit elderly relatives and then the drag up to Holyhead to get the Ferry home - only saw 1Mog - an aero8 on the A34 - now home after 750Kms
Good weekend, but IMHO not as good as Llangollen in 2015- the venue was too big and not enough spares/accessory dealers present - I did think the concert and fireworks were first class though -all in all , a good weekend!!!

Just spent a long weekend at Morgans at Windermere.
covered roughly 1000 miles in variable weather having great fun.
Graham thanks for the Trouh of Bowland hint, it was great.

A pleasant jaunt through the Peak District. Some stunning views once the low cloud lifted. 136 miles - all bar the 30 on the M1 being fun.

Today I have mostly been... driving down from Caen to near Confolens in France. Hood up motorway hack until Le Mans then a cross country saunter to a Loire Chateau... Chenonceau.... for a brilliant lunch in their Orangery restaurant. The chateau is drop dead gorgeous so we spent the early afternoon there. Then a cross country dash to the house, dodging showers. Got slightly wet once but had to admit defeat and pop the hood up for the last 40 mins as it poured down.
Car now has some extra squeaks and rattles so a thorough check needed before Angouleme at the weekend.
