There was a post asking about tools and spares to carry along. Here is a photo of my tool bin under the bonnet. It is simply some formed aluminum held in place by existing screws. Spare inner tubes are under the steering column, puncture repair kit strapped to the battery. tools2m3w by Jeff Inge, on Flickr tubes2small by Jeff Inge, on Flickr Tool/spares list as follows: Allen wrench set vice grip slot and Phillips screw drivers needle nose pliers small channel lock pliers small cresent wrench special thinned socket to remove valve stem nut lead hammer wheel nut wrench flat tire slime tire irons battery air compressor scissors jack jumper cables 2 spare Dzus fasteners valve core removal tool I have not seen anyone mention the need for the jack, something I deem necessary. Also, check if your spanner will fit on the valve stem on the front wheel, thus my need for a thin wall socket. Most of this stuff is related to the inevitable puncture. The AAA card is also a good bet, depending on where you are, and cell phone reach. A flash light would also be handy.

I'm impressed - none of that melts due to the hot oil tank! I may need to relocate my spares to the front!

Was going to mount a box under the bonnet but the 30cm x 20cm x 14cm craft box from Amazon wedged in between the scuttle and oil tank bracket... fits the gunk n hammer container, spare inner tube, spare light bulb container, duck tape... Box reference: Zeller Multi-Purpose Box, Wood, Multi-Colour, 30 x 20 x 15 cm, £7.50

I did. I bought the clamps on ebay, and welded up the rest. They also double as brackets to hold the small Harley Sportster luggage racks, one on each hoop. There is a photo of them posted on here under the alternative luggage rack thread.

I know this is off topic, but where is the URL? URL = Uniform Resource Locator, commonly thought of as the address of an object. In your case the url of your picture is the link you pasted in, starting "http" and ending "jpg". To display the picture rather than the link, you need to tell TalkMorgan to show it as an image, so you put the characters img before and after it, enclosed in square brackets. The second tag also needs a / before the letters img to show its the end of the image. To see what it all looks like, just click the quote button under my post with the picture in and you'll see.

Hello! After reading all these posts, today I bought some tools and stuff to take with me in the flying rocket. This is the list of tools I plan to carry. Some are missing (also listed below). Please let me know which things are not necessary according to your experience! For example, I’m sure that many of the wrench’s sizes are totally useless in the 3 wheeler – please let me know which ones I can take out of the bags! • Battery jumper cables (the grey box) • Reflective red warning compact triangle (red box) • LED torch (a powerful one with magnetic cap and also red flashing LEDs for emergency) • Emergency help flash (magnetic, orange LED flashing you can see 1km away) • Resistant gloves • A couple of webbing • Small aluminum carabiners (4x) • Tool box : screwdrivers, Allen keys, tubular wrenches, etc. • Multipurpose pliers • Small crescent wrench • Needle nose pliers • Standard pliers • Channel lock pliers • 19mm wrench • 17mm wrench • 15mm wrench • 13mm wrench • 12mm wrench • 10mm wrench • 8mm wrench • 6mm wrench • Copper and hide hammer • Wheel nut wrench • Black duct tape • Insulating tape • Blue cable • Black cable • Earth cable • Cutter • Loctite crazy glue • Small adjustable plastic cable ties • Medium adjustable plastic cable ties • Tire removal irons (3x) (will only take them with me in case I also buy spare inner tubes and a small compressor, or obviously they will be totally useless) Missing (I ask myself if they are really necessary…) • Small 12V compressor • Spare inner tubes • spare light bulbs (I still don’t know all the type of bulbs the 3 wheeler has) • Spare fuses (still don’t know which ones are necessary) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/16/IMG_4944.jpg) All this, but the battery jumper cables, gets into the beautiful leather Morgan bags ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/01/16/IMG_4945.jpg)
