And here's the utterly gorgeous 1934 SS............
With individual bucket rear seats.

Sad to have missed the day but inspired to re-visit the museum having seen these pictures. My last visit was at the Mini-Mog there 4-6 years ago. The photos above show considerable changes in the exhibits since then. And DaveW - that SS is wonderful - there is something so very special about a car with a bonnet that long.

Right from the off, Sir William Lyons had a fantastic eye for what makes a car look sleek and sexy.

This really was a grand day out, and we should do this at least once a year. Informality and no crowding. Plenty of gassing time.

To the credit of the Gaydon Museum, I thought the prices in the restaurant were very reasonable.
