Sorry guys, you'll have to rule me out of both. Start pottery course on the first date....finish on the second!

Dave, the AV8 cafe is on the Cotswold Airport, south of Cirencester off of the A433, not far from the A429. The cafe overlooks the runway, mostly light aircraft and plenty of parking.

Bit of a long haul, but I could possibly make the 14th - weather and other stuff permitting! Having never been to Williams, I could combine the two.
For anyone in the East Devon or South Somerset area, there is a similar cafe at Dunkeswell Airfield, north of Honiton. Regular stop-off point in both Stanley and when out with my mates on the motorbikes.

Ah, we've done Cirencester and back in the day, but it's a long run. It would need to be exemplary weather. Not sure if we're away that weekend.
On the subject of pub meets - has anyone tried The Leopard at Bishops Tachbrook? It's quite close to Gaydon, up the B4100 from the roundabout on the Fosse Way.

Dave not been to the Leopard for many years. It served decent food then. I would check for recent customer reviews and then make a decision.
Just a suggestion is to give a try to the Cotswold Food store and Cafe at Ganborough, Longborough on A424 out of Stow on the Wold. Ample safe parking, good quality food. If you have a sandwich and a bowl of chips at lunch time you will be full.
TMers have been known to visit.

+1 for the Cotswold Food Store - my particular favourite is the home made Trenchermans Pie.
