Away from the track action it's difficult to explain to anyone who hasn't been just how much Goodwood put into the Revival. This for instance is "The Richmond Rowing Club" - complete with river, boats, geese and a croquet lawn. All of this created just for this one weekend.

(Last year they recreated Wembley Stadium and the year before Mount Everest!)

Thankyou for posting steve - no chance of getting anything done now!

Next Sunday 17th Sept is the Firle Hill climb revival at Bo Peep - in deepest East Sussex about 5 miles west of Eastboure. A great event but not well known so not too many crowds but some great cars - free entry too - should anyone be in the area.

Or as Aussies would say, crack a tinnie. It's bloody brilliant tv and some compensation for not being there. And the bits you miss, while rushing out for more tinnies, you can watch later.

Great to see Guy Martin yesterday on his Goodwood debut. A shame that his team mate's fall this morning meant he didn't get to ride the second leg today. I wonder if he'll make a TV programme about it?

thanks - i have been dropping in the it racing all weekend.

i did wonder why Guy Martin did not race today, now I know. He was a pit crew member for Williams at the Spa GP which will be a TV program, so at least he has started recording a new series.

Guy Martin's appearance was a surprise as he hadn't been down to race in the programme. We didn't see him other than on the track, we did see Edd China though.

I was there Friday and yesterday but stayed at home and watched the live stream today. I'm glad I did, pretty foul weather this afternoon unfortunately. I hope Kevin's tent has survived!
