I opened the garage door this morning and peering out of the dawn I found the Highland Raiders "vehicle", a strange looking beastie for sure.
Quite unlike anything ever seen before in these parts and with either one wheel missing, or one wheel too many!

This was the first look....

I approached it, carefully, not certain what I'd find....
A three eyed monster, very red and seemingly not awake as it was silent and motionless..

Moving round to the side it clearly had an appetite for prey, with 7 meals marked up on one side.
The significance of the big "brand" mark in the side was unclear, did it mean that there are at least 141 more of them? A frightening thought.

Or is the Cell Number of its owner?

We left it in the drive, when we returned it had gone, along with its owner.

It is 141 miles from Brittany Ferries terminal in Plymouth to our barn in Alderbury. By my pocket watch you took just 2 hours, so an average of 70 mph.
Now that is what I call making good progress...!!

It was about ten to twelve when I got past passport control so not such good progress really. innocent
Strangely did follow a very large and fast ambulance for a while that had an impressive array of flashing blue and red lights.

And here I was remembering my wife's wise words from time to time "Mario, you low-life, mediterranian hopeless bearded tramp, there's no Morgan windshield dirtier in the Universe"

There's still hope for me. grin2

I was going to suggest that Peter's windscreen could do with a bit of a clean, then I remembered mine is probably in a similar condition! smile

I don't pamper the car, keep it cleanish, tidy but to be honest I enjoy driving over cleaning.

I was told, once, that the best way to keep the screen clean is not to use the car. This was by a "concourse obsessive" at a show.
Life is too short....etc.

I'm exactly the same. usually end up cleaning the screen just before going out, rather than after getting home smile

Does anyone else fill up after a trip before you get out and leave the car, or do you wait until the next journey to fill up..
