I agree Richard, at first I couldn't quite work out what was happening and initially I thought the ship was sinking!
Never seen anything like it before and it must be the worlds most expensive theme park ride!

Another thread I don't get
Can someone explain what's happening and what's the point ? Apparently it's not a ship it's an instrument platform that sails to a location then flips upright by flooding ballast tanks, but what for is a mystery

I agree with Burgundymog - it looks like a drilling/pumping platform to me. Built horizontal and towed to it's locating site. Then the column flooded to tip it to the correct attitude.
