Yesterday afternoon I noticed this 3wheeler.
An elderly couple had just completed to close the tonnau.
I congratulated them for owning such a nice 3 wheeler and asked if it was built pre-war.
The answer: "Of course, they did not build any more after the war!" And off they went.

💩 arrogance or ignorance?🙄

Mid 1950s. But the final year saw only a handful produced. My Morgan bookshelf is a little obscured at present...

Whilst showing my Plus 8 at the Edenbridge Motor Show on Sunday an old boy came up to me and asked "what engine is in it?", I told him it was a Rover V8 to which he replied "Good, at least it's not German, those b*st*rds tried to kill me during the war" and then he walked off, leaving me somewhat stunned!

Will we ever be able to rid ourselves of the Second World War?
I just can't get all these shows/events where everyone wants to dress up like it's 1942 again and as for the "Gentleman" in Steve's post, well I could go on for hours about the other side of the coin. frown

Here for a good time not a long time!!
