Advice I wish I had followed.
Get your 3 wheeler professionally inspected before the warranty expires.

Not doing so cost me over 1000 euro already and now will cost me another 4000.

It's only been 1300km since the warranty expired but now it is discovered that my compensator needs to be replaced. A known issues with these cars. Certainly this problem did not occur over night. If only I had take the car for a thorough inspection before, this money would be coming from MMC's pocket instead of mine!

Save your money, don't make the same mistake as me!

Most manufacturers will make a contribution in such circumstances as a goodwill gesture. It may not be full payment as in the warranty period but it's better than nothing. Worth a try surely?

Agree Steve - well worth a shot - with nothing to be lost!

I would go to your nearest dealer - or contact MMC direct.

This is good advice. I made the alternative choice - I sold mine at that point and ordered a 4/4! The warranty of that is about to run out. I am not inclined to sell it.

Good idea to have any car checked before warranty expires, especially a Morgan - speaking from experience.

Many US states ( like my Maryland) have a consumer protection law called "warranty of merchantability", where a warranty does not end on the exact date the mfg. states, but is instead required by the state to be covered somewhat beyond that date as to what is reasonable. If, for example, your transmission fails after 37 months vs. 36 Maryland is going to force a mfg. to cover that
