Thanks for the info Mark! It's not much but it is nice knowing something!

Would you post some photos of the cracks? I have a 2013 even though I have look at frame every time before I get in it, it would be helpful to know the area where to keep a good eye on.

I'm working with our team to update the parts book to make it easier for everyone (& clearer)
I'll post a link for you guys to download the new version once completed if you'd like?

Just raise a spares only part number that calls up the std chassis and all of the parts required.

There is a lot of information on TM about chassis cracks, search "cracked and bent chassis" for some of it. The area to check closely is the front suspension upper wishbone rear mounting. The cracks seem to start mainly on the underside of the main tube. A small mirror and a torch will help with inspection. It would be worthwhile checking the other front wishbone mountings as well.

For a better idea of what to look for, I have found this is a photo of a well developed chassis crack. The LH side is the upper rear wishbone mount and the RH side is the steering UJ and rack splines, it's a RH drive car. I hope this helps with your inspections.

Sorry to have to be doing this in a public forum but I am just spitting mad. Morgan were supposed to have couriered down to France, a complete Bevel Box retro fit kit for pre 2014 cars, which for some reason did not get sent out with the chassis. Instead they seem to have sent a few assorted bits of the kit. This means we cannot even begin to fit the bevel box and yet another week goes by..... It would seem likely that someone has been raiding the kit (part number SV120002) for various of its component parts, fabricated brackets etc, so that it has been sent out incomplete. Words fail me. There are some other parts we don't have, like the amended battery retention kit as the battery bracket on the chassis has changed but at worst these could be made up but the bevel box parts cannot.

Makes you want to weep :-(
