Well now ... interesting outcome of the Loire trip:

1. 'she who must be obeyed' ("SWMBO") got a few drips landing on her on the very wet day we had up through Le Mans, - "it's not an ideal winter car is it?"
2. having enjoyed the trip so much, the aero is definitely not being parted with.
3. aero use will need to reduce during the winter, and the Defender 90 TD5 while another 'not parting with' is not an ideal everyday car
4. SWMBO has decided that she likes driving the 330d touring ...
5. "I suppose you getting a small sensible car to use as well as the landie and the Morgan would be ok"

M140i that will good (don't forget the wet roundabouts, three loops looking out of the passenger window is a full score.

I got the same re the Aero - "We will need a sensible car with a boot. We have never had an SUV and should really see what all the fuss is about."

ML63 with Performance pack. Just need to chip it and get some 3" drainpipe fitted now.
