Lovely car 😍. I still think that it was the best of the limited edition Trads and I regret not buying one.
I replaced the nine stud hood on my 4/4 Sport with an Allon White hood. In my view a better hood than the factory easy up. Mine didn't leak a drop and whilst it didn't give the clean lines of the nine stud when down, it was a lot less bulky than the factory easyup. I put throttle bodies on my Sport as well as full librands exhaust and a competition diff but whilst it was giving out 156 bhp it still lacked torque. Did sound good though 🤓
Kevin....I thought you had ordered the folding screen mechanism from Morgan Park? It won't fit the SS!

As Jays has said the 4/4 with throttle bodies does not add all that much to an engine that is already in a relatively high state of tune. For real world, on road, use you want mid range torque. This is where the Plus 4 SS with the Mazda engine really shines. What a pity Morgan were blinded by the name "Cosworth" when they created the ARP4. The would have been better off doing another series of the Plus 4 SS with the Mazda engine, or better still the 2.5 VVT Duratec engine

Agreed - the 2.5 VVT Duratech is a great engine - maybe MMC will use it for a model run???

For anyone seeking a Morgan with masses of torque; Adrian’s (AJSki2fly) 3.7 Roadster is back up for sale, when I was last at Berrybrook. Adrian spent a lot of time and effort getting this car properly sorted.

I suspect so. A normal trad would simply be dismissed by the yoof in his Clio as an old frrt driving an old phrrt's car, but the obvious go faster bits on this car might well be seen as a challenge. And I know from my Lotus days just how irritating and tiring that can be. Even white van man used to "have a go". To avoid the problem you either need hidden performance or something even they realise they cant win against. In any case wouldnt it be more fun to buy a plus 4 at 30k and spend 15k on tuning it up your own way?

Jays I have ordered the Morgan Park kit and am aware that it will not fit the Supersports.
If I don't change cars then this folding screen will give the car a new lease of life..a "re-modelling" if you will. Crazy really...my 4/4 is still great after 3 years and still gives me a "fizz" when I drive it...nothing has fallen off or gone wrong and have done 2 long trips to Venice last year..great car.
Trouble is,and this is my weakness, I have run out of things to do to it..no more fettling !!!..I should be content ..lucky me !!!
Perhaps I need therapy!!!

Kevin, I'm very keen to see the Morgan Park pillars on your car.....before I order a set!
Howard made a point earlier. If you like to fettle, why not keep the 4/4 and continue modding it? Throttle bodies and cams would be the next step. Would make for a very individual car. With a limited edition car like the SS, it would seem a shame to fettle that and lose what it is.
