Those who have driven one will grudgingly admit that the MX5 is the better car!
My son has one so I can vouch for that. I’ve had two Morgans in the past and currently drive an F Type. Secretly though, deep down, I still yearn for another Morgan and am looking for the right one to come along!

I owned a 1.8s Mk1 for around 3 years Bob. Yes a fun little car (apart from sill rot - UK car too) but the boot is just not large enough. I traded it for a Z3 which had more boot space, but still limited (although there is only me now). That was replaced by a Boxster S - cavernous!

Stop worrying all, while I may give up Morgan ownership, I'm not leaving here... Or the Morgan world - made too many friends over the years smile smile

I drove a Miata all over New Zealand for 5 weeks last February. It was a hoot. I am sort of with Graham. 87 going on 88. Even bought a detachable steering wheel to make ingress and egress easier. But getting tired of either roasting or freezing in a pool of water. Seriously looking at a Porsche Boxster.

Shocked to hear you are giving up your Morgan G! Still.....sometimes one has to move on and I’m looking forward to seeing what you end up with 🤓.

I do hope that whatever you get will get you up to Arnside sometime......a room awaits and some nice pints in the Albion!

17 mile bumpy road trip to road test my new rear springs. All is well and the crashing over bumpy roads has stopped. Hoping the grounding will be less common too - one of the bolts holding my seat down was at a jaunty angle.

Drive to the Riverford Café near Dartington today to meet up with other "Fossils" for lunch.
eat
With a stop for coffee first near Bovey.
coffee
Good turnout and quite a few Morgans, despite the dubious weather this morning.
Hood down in partial sunshine driving home.
drive
Excellent day and Friday is now set aside to wash the 4/4.

Bud,
I would have loved that. Instead out of garage one into garage two which is bigger to fit the new Nautlius horn & reverse.
I guess max 30 m.
Still I enjoyed it.
