You were correct Lee car has a clutch problem plus compensator rubbers. Finally checked rubbers on return from Grindelwald using £7.00 enderscope, car 2 years old 18000 miles. Not good 1 rubber in half and rest starting to break up, managed to get good video

Unfortunately on the way back home from service the gear change started to become stiff clutch would not disengage fully, eventually not at all. Pedal travel felt just like normal. Car recovered back to Oakmere by RAC.
Had update from Oakmere the warranty has been approved to replace compensator rubbers, clutch problem being checked out at same time.
enderscope was a good investment, there was no sign of any rubber in bell housing, just slight amount of rubber dust. Would recommend anyone near end of warranty to check.
