Yup springs are here, just need to get Chris to freight them to me now, and I have a local workshop I trust to fit them. This only being able to lift 3kg after my surgery is highly restrictive.

I have the 4/4 4 seater springs and sprayed chain lube into them and then bound them with the Denso tape. Bi6 is that mucky stuff 😄) Have two final questions. If I may 1 What is the significance of the Head rest photo in the step by step?
2 how did you remove the seats ( the seat belt bit mainly ) or do you just unbolt one and rest it on the other, one side at a time and leave the seat belt all in place?
Cheers John

John
The headrest photo was there because at the time there had been a thread running on how to remove!
I think I removed the seats completely when I did this job but normally I rest then on the rear shelf in the folded position. The seat belt bracket can be removed from the backrest if necessary.

Hi Dave - one final question if I may.
I just went to mark the taller spring so it’s gets fitted on the drivers side and noticed that the centring pin is off set on each spring. It is 60cm in from one end of the spring and 55cm from the other end, on both springs . Which end goes toward the front of the car ?
Cheers John

The leaves get less towards the rear so the pin is closer to the front. They wont fit the wrong way because the pin wont meet the axle!
