Following on from a conversation with Paul at Williams today I took a look at Plus 8s offered for sale.
On the MMC world wide search machine there are just 5 in the world, 4 in the UK. The cheapest (just sold) at £77.5k and the most expensive at £95,000
Looking at Pistonheads there is one additional one. at £89,500
Autotrader adds no new cars.
So a bit rare!
To put it into perspective there are 10 S5 Aero 8s.

You're not thinking of selling are you ! No, After the AMG Incident, which has so far racked up 79 hours time, plus parts, I was wondering how much it would cost to replace if the worst happened!! It is insured for £78,995, which may be a little low! To make things totally clear.... Tarka is not and will not be for sale whilst I am still able to drive!

Good point, Peter.. It may be worthwhile doing some tracking of prices to support that argument and re-visit your Agreed Value, perhaps..? I had a lovely chat with Graham Chapman of MMC a while ago. He also runs a modern P8, and rejoiced in the fact that it IS one of the rarer Aero's and as such, residuals should remain high..

Steve, I talked with Graham at the Run to the Hills about his red Plus 8...it is his and not owned by MMC and like me he intends to keep it. His view is that the Plus 8s will mirror Aeromax pricing over the next few years, once production has ended. Nice, but irrelevant as I intend to run mine..passed 34,000 this morning. But yes, I think I need to get my "Agreed Value" up by £5k. As it has "provenance", being the first Morgan ever to have flappy paddle gear change and has been extensively photographed, it is part of Morgan history. Graham's car was sporting some rather tasty Morgan branded LED Headlamps. Aeroman also has a set and posted photos of them a while back. I asked Graham "how much"and his answer was more than evasive. So I suspect that they will be used on something special, before being more widely released. They are the first LED headlights that look "right" on a Trad Mod. Bottom line... having the car is an honour and a pleasure...especially at the price I paid....!

Hi Peter,
In the US there are 14 +8s listed in Hemmings this week although one or two may be there twice. The prices look a lot lower than the UK.
