Saturday was a beautiful fall afternoon, perhaps one of the last before the weather turns. Talked my wife into a ride up along the Delaware river on the Pennsylvania side. Rode over to Washington Crossing (Where 'ol George crossed the Delaware river in the night, then led the main body of the Continental Army against Hessian soldiers garrisoned at Trenton on Christmas morning. After a brief battle, nearly the entire Hessian force was captured. River road is a nice ride on the PA side of the river.
We stopped at Bowman's Hill tower (circa 1931) for a climb up to a great view of the Delaware river valley.

A slow ride through the town of New Hope and snapped a picture of a horse dressed up for Halloween. Lots and lots of people snapping pictures of the Morgan, hard to be stealth in this thing.

Ended up at Black Bass Inn in Lumberville for a cheese plate and a drink overlooking the river. A wonderful ride, great company, and a superb afternoon.
